Capture Life Below - Enter the Underwater Journal Video Contest!
- Here’s your chance to create and submit your short video story about life below the surface.
- A bit of a creative edge and a little video savvy is all it takes.
- Enter your video between June 1 and July 15 and you’ve got a chance to win:
First Prize: a 7-day trip to Anthony’s Key Resort in Roatan, Bay Islands
Runner up: a Scubapro MK25/A700 Black Tekregulator and a two-tank dive for two at Jupiter Dive Center in North Palm Beach, Florida.
Conditions:
- Entries are open to UWJ Subscribers.
- Entries are limited to three submissions per subscriber.
- Video submissions must be 5 minutes or less
- Submissions will be accepted between June 1 and July 15, 2011
- Voting is between July 16, 2011 and August 15, 2011
- Anyone can vote on entries.

- Entrants will submit a link and embed code to the UWJ YouTube and/or Vimeo page.
- Submissions must be accompanied with a description of the video: tell us where, when, how and why it was produced.
- Videos can be produced at any location of choice.
- Your video must tell a story, with a beginning, middle and an end.
- Videos must be produced underwater. It can be artistic, serious, convey an environmental message or it can be humorous; whatever your “creative edge” touts.
- Winners will be based on the number of favorite votes and will ultimately be the decision of Ocean Arts, Inc. and The Underwater Journal.
- Winners will be notified on or before August 31, 2011.
